Community Education Archives and Reference Center

The Community Education Archives was established in 1993 through a donation from Richard and Shirley Pendell. The Archives, located in the College of Education, houses documents from pioneers of community education from around the world. Current holdings include documents and memorabilia from pioneers in the community education field and historical publications.

The Archives has been designated as a depository of historical materials by both the National Community Education Association and the International Community Education Association.
